Another Sizzling Day, Spare the Air, Red Flag Warning

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)  -- Forecasters are predicting another day of sizzling temperatures across the Bay Area and Northern California.

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory in effect from noon today until 8:00 tonight. A red flag fire warning for the North Bay hills also remains in effect.

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 80s in San Francisco, but inland areas are expected to see temperatures breaking 100 degrees.

Forecasters say it should hit 98 degrees in San Jose. Further inland it will be even warmer, with Livemore expected to see a high of 102 and Sacramento 103.

Things are expected to cool off a bit by the weekend.
