This is a charming new book divided into six chapters: Cakes and Puddings, Decorative Sweets, Cookies and Candies, Sweet Gifts, Pies Ices and Creams, Fruit and Preserves.
Ice cream may sound out of season right now, but it would be great as a garnish. This Cranberry Sorbet sounds great. How about individual apple pudding? Or glazed orange tart - you see a lot of pecan, pear, and apple tarts, but not orange. In the recipe she includes the rine and it's so pretty and sounds delicious! I think more should be done with oranges - they get overlooked too often. She also makes segments of oranges sweetened with liqueur. Try these Christmas Sweets!
