BERKELEY, Calif. (KCBS) -- A man was shot and killed near the UC Berkeley campus Tuesday afternoon.
It happened about 4 p.m. in the parking lot near the Top Dog restaurant on Durant Avenue, less than a block from the Unit 1 student dormitory, according to police Sgt. Mary Kusmiss.
Apparently some kind of argument broke out between two young men prior to the shooting, said Kusmiss.
