2006 Dutton Ranch, Chardonnay, Russian River Valley
Lush, ripe berries with lots of floral aromas lead to a marvelous mouthful of wine. Berries and ripe plums roll around on the tongue and linger long on the palate. Fine balance, rich but with enough acid to serve with rich seafood or poultry dishes. $35.00.
2006 Dutton Ranch, Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Elegant, light red color. Soft supple and subtle aromas of the elusive pinot noir "smokiness." Fine fruit on the palate... think strawberries and raspberries. A fine, mellow tannic backbone. Here's a wine to serve with grilled wild salmon or pork. Very fair price $38.00.
