This new SF restaurant is a chef's dream come true! I stopped by to visit Chef Jan Birnbaum who is partners with Pat Kuleto who is the designer. It's on the waterfront - the setting is phenomenal!
And it's a dream kitchen - roastery over an oak burning fire, a grill, a large half dome wood-burning oven. And a lot of great things on the menu: wild salmon roasted on a plank, wood-roasted squid salad, dungeness crab, beef dry aged for 28 days, and a wood-oven roasted rib eye.
I think this new restaurant is off to a great start!
