Foam Factory in Fremont Goes Up in Flames

FREMONT, Calif. (KCBS)  -- An investigation is underway into the cause of a two-alarm fire that burned a foam factory in Fremont, according to officials.

The fire at Bob's Foam Factory at 4055 Pestana Place began about 4 p.m. and was controlled two hours later. Flames were fed by foam rubber.

There was a shelter in place order for a time because of the thick black smoke from the fire.
