GEYSERVILLE, Calif. (KCBS) -- A brushfire burning near Geyserville has grown to 400 acres and is expected to be contained sometime Saturday, according to Cal Fire.
The fire began in steep terrain about 4 a.m. Thursday near Geyser Road by the Hawkeye Ranch. The cause of the fire is unknown.
Meanwhile, a 50 acre fire at Saint Helena and Tarwater roads near the Napa County border has been fully contained and mop-up operations were under way, Cal Fire spokesman Mike Wilson said.
The fire started about 9 a.m. Thursday.
Fire crews working both fires have had difficulty dealing with the heat while fighting the blazes.
