SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS/SFGate) -- A mainstay for meals in the Tenderloin is becoming a site for dealers to push their wares.
Every day, hungry, homeless and those working to stay off drugs and alcohol line up outside Glide Memorial Church for free meals, but lately, there are reports that dealers are using the line to drum up business.
One police official supported the church's work but said the church should do a better job of monitoring the line or move the line to Glide's parking lot.
Glide Pastor Cecil Williams previously told the San Francisco Chronicle the lot was not an option because the caged-in area would create more violent situations.
