SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- The number of drivers arrested over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is down slightly from last year.
The California Highway Patrol reports that 202 drivers have been arrested for driving under the influence as of 6 a.m. Sunday morning. That's down from 207 arrests over the same time period last year.
Statewide 1, 397 drivers have been arrested which is a drop of 100 from last year.
Two people have been killed in accidents on Bay Area roads which is the same as during this time last year.
The holiday reporting period runs through midnight Sunday.
