 SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- The first yacht line sporting a hybrid engine made its debut Friday at the San Francisco Yacht Club.
European yacht builder Frauscher unveiled its new line of hybrid luxury boats.
The company is calling the hybrid a breakthrough propulsion system that combines a diesel and an electrical engine. It says it provides noiseless power on inland waterways so animals, birds and fish are not disturbed.
