Involuntary Manslaughter in AT&T Park Fight

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS/AP)  -- An 18-year-old San Carlos man will be charged with involuntary manslaughter after a fight outside of AT&T Park over the weekend turned fatal.

Taylor Buckley is accused of throwing the punch that led to the death of 18-year-old Anthony Giraudo of Redwood City after an argument outside the gates of the ballpark Friday night.

Giraudo was hospitalized after falling over and hitting his head on concrete and pronounced dead at the hospital Saturday.

District Attorney Kamala Harris said in a statement that her office was seeking the maximum charge under the law. An involuntary manslaughter conviction carries a sentence of up to four years in prison.

Buckley's attorney says he thought prosecutors had made the right decision.
