San Francisco St. Patrick's Day Parade: The annual St. Patrick's Parade launches Saturday from 2nd and Market Streets and heads to the Civic Center where a day long festival continues till 5pm. The parade gets underway at 11:30am and should wrap by 1:30pm. No through traffic will be allowed to cross Market St. until the parade is over.
Sunday Streets: Sunday Streets returns to San Francisco. This Sunday the Embarcadero will close to motorized vehicles from 10am to 3pm. The closure begins at AT&T Park and continues all the way to Fisherman's Wharf.
San Jose Sharks: The Sharks host the Florida Panthers on Saturday at 1pm at HP Pavilion. Expect the surface streets around the arena to see heavy use as well as extra traffic on the Santa Clara St. and Julian St. off ramps from Hwy 87.
