2007 Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
Soft, subtle aromas of blueberries, a bit smoky as Pinot Noir classically is. Medium light on the palate with a soft, but at the same time, definitive tannic backbone. Just 1-2 years aging would make a marvelous wine reminiscent of the Cote de Beaune in the Burgundy region of France. Fine price $36.00
2007 Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Medium deep color with a closed in structure on the nose - a rich wine with a future it says. Ripe fruit aromas lead to a rich, and already soft, balanced wine on the palate. Plenty of fruit, plenty of soft tannins... downright delicious now with a future of 5 years or more. Very fair price $42.00
