2007 Semillon - Chardonnay
Pale straw color / rich and lush aromas of vanilla from the oak barrels touched with toast. On the palate that toasty quality carries through, somewhat like the toasty top of a meringue pie. Full lingering flavors. $20.00
2006 White meritage
65% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Semillon
Herbal, weedy aromas, like walking through a field when blossoms are out in spring. Dry, austere on the palate. The fruit is in the background. There is a minerally crispness. This would be splendid with oysters on the halfshell. The firmness also makes this a perfect wine with roast chicken or even the holiday turkey. $24.00.
