SAN FRANCISCO, (KCBS) -- A man has been hospitalized after becoming lodged beneath a MUNI bus in San Francisco's Marina District Sunday morning.
MUNI spokesman Judson True said the agency is working with San Francisco police to investigate the accident, which occurred around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Francisco Street and Richardson Avenue. "The pedestrian involved in the accident had reportedly been on the MUNI bus just before the accident." True added the victim was hospitalized and the MUNI driver, per standard procedure, was taken off duty and tested for drugs and alcohol.
A fire department dispatcher said the victim was in better condition by the time he arrived at the hospital.
