Palomino Fino $31.00
Rich amber color / somewhat like a Spanish Amontillado Sherry.
Palomino is the name of the grape. Rich, nutty, dry, lingering flavors. Yes, all at once. The classic aromas of sherry with an added freshness. This would be a perfect aperitif, especially pickled or smoked fish... Hams, roasted nuts.
1996 Starboard $32.00
Traditional Portuguese grapes are grown in Amador County for Quady. Surprisingly fresh fruitiness for a wine already 12 years old. That freshness blends with a rich mouthfeel and finishes with an elegant balance. Bring out some nuts and chocolates.
