Stockton Raid Leads to Drug Charges

BRENTWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Three Brentwood men are facing drug charges after police say they uncovered a sophisticated marijuana growing operation in a Stockton warehouse.

Police say during a raid on the warehouse and adjoining business Wednesday, narcotics officers found more than 1,200 pot plants, about 25 pounds of dried pot, a stolen gun and indoor growing equipment worth more than $100,000.

Walter Wynne, 46, was arrested on suspicion of marijuana cultivation, possession of marijuana for sale and possession of stolen property.

After serving a separate warrant on a home in Brentwood, police arrested Justin Reis, 30, and his brother, Brandon, 21. The two were booked on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and resisting arrest.
