Top Minds in Robotics Meet in San Jose

 SAN JOSE, Calif. (KCBS) -- San Jose is hosting the Robo Development Conference this week, where leaders in the field will display the latest technology and discuss the future of artificial intelligence.
Robots are becoming a part of modern life, from automatic vacuum cleaners to programmable toys. Keynote speaker Tandy Trower said the buzz in robotics is now similar to the early days of the PC industry.
“It’s going on very heavily in Europe, it’s going on very heavily in Asia right now. There’s just nowhere that I’ve traveled so far that I’ve found that there isn’t a deep interest in figuring out how to turn this into a successful business venture,” he said.
