Sacramento, Calif. (KCBS) -- California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mexican President Vincente Fox had a lengthy discussion on immigration and other issues during the Governor's trade mission in Mexico today.
KCBS' Doug Sovern, who is traveling with the Governor, says Schwarzenegger told Fox that he wants to develop jobs on both sides of the border to help address immigration issues.
They also discussed a controversial new fence that is going up along the border. Schwarzenegger said that the fence was an incomplete solution but that border security is part of a comprehensive plan on immigration problems.
The Governor meets tomorrow with incoming Mexican President Felipe Calderon.
