SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- A draft report by San Francisco's budget analyst is creating fireworks even before it is released later this week.
Board of Supervisors Budget Analyst Harvey Rose will reportedly say in his report that Mayor Newsom is spending well over a million dollars in money that was intended for other city departments, including Muni, Health and Human Services and Recreation and Parks.
Supervisor Jake McGoldrick, who ordered the report, said the mayor's release of the confidential draft is unethical and astounding.
Newsom released the report preemptively saying it is technically accurate, but wildly overstates the facts.
