SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- On a visit to three east coast cities, Mayor Gavin Newsom said he fielded a lot of complaints panhandlers and other seamy elements of the city's street life.
The mayor said tourism officials in Chicago, Washington and New York also bemoaned about the city’s high prices and inadequate convention facilities.
