SAN JOSE, Calif. (KCBS) -- Clear, the fast pass for airport security, is being called a success at Mineta San Jose International Airport.
The registered travelers program which allows enrolled passengers to get through security faster, logged its 100,000 use since it was launched last year. Of the 230,000 people who have signed up nationwide for Clear, more than 40,000 are from the Bay Area.
Frequent travelers like engineer Jeffery Egan say they wouldn't leave home without it. They say the program's $199 annual fee is worth every penny.
