San Jose State Students Build Zero Emission Vehicle

San Jose, Calif. (KCBS)  -- Engineering students at San Jose State University have created a zero emissions vehicle they call “ZEM,” an acronym that stands for zero emissions.

The vehicle gets its power from three sources: solar, electricity and human power via bicycle pedals.

It’s design resemble a boxy shaped golf cart.

KCBS' Mike Colgan got to take a test drive of these vehicles. Listen to his review.
