RICHMOND, Calif. (AP) -- Police are looking for the drivers of two vehicles who hit a woman bicyclist, dragged her down the street to her death and then fled the scene.
Richmond police Officer Ramon Middleton says 49-year-old Laura Casey was riding her bike at around 6 p.m. Saturday when a white, four-door sedan rear-ended her, knocking her down.

Witnesses told police that Casey screamed for help for about 30 seconds before being struck by a second vehicle, which dragged her 25 feet, then drove away. Police had no information about the second vehicle.
”This is callous, I mean, this is someone who is heartless, and has no respect for human life in order to drive away when someone is hurt without stopping to check on them at all,” said Officer Ramon Middleton.
