SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- For most people, traveling to Iran is a big deal, but for globe-trotter Rick Steves it’s just another place to mark off on his list of places traveled.
Steves' opportunity to visit the country came as an opportunity for a show on PBS. He said he wasn’t there to find the “bad parts of society” and found people that were curious and courteous but also very leery of American culture.
KCBS’ Patti Reising reports
Steves is the guest on this week’s In Depth program, which airs every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
