SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- The FBI is seeking the public's help in identifying a man with silver hoop earrings and tattoos on his neck who is suspected of robbing at least six banks throughout the Bay Area within the past two weeks.
The bank robbery spree began April 10, when the suspect robbed a Bank of the West in Vacaville, according to FBI Special Agent Joe Schadler.
The suspect then robbed a Guaranty Bank at 1801 El Camino Real in Burlingame on April 14, a First Bank at 2395 Willow Pass Road in Concord on April 15, and a West America Bank in Stockton on April 17, Schadler said.
Four days later he robbed another Guaranty Bank at 5100 Clayton Road in Concord, and then a Metro One Credit Union at 2077 Main St. in Oakley on April 23, according to Schadler.
The white suspect has a slim build and is about 5 feet 7 inches tall to 5 feet 10 inches tall, Schadler said.
