”We’re really getting some very preliminary signs, in that we’ve had some of our first conversations with some of our corporate partners about reengaging in larger events,” said San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau C.E.O. Dan Fenton. “So we’re encouraged that in the upcoming third quarter things could move up.”
Fenton says they working to make San Jose more attractive to convention bookers.
”One of the things we’re doing in San Jose is doing more things for event planners and meeting planners to take away their cost and overhead in putting on events, so that San Jose becomes an affordable, flexible location that delivers results for them.”
