MILLBRAE, Calif. (KCBS) -- Two BART unions have authorized a strike while negotiations continue with a third BART union as contracts expire next week.
The possibility of a strike worries passengers at the BART station in Millbrae. One man said in the present economy, workers and management should look for the middle ground.

"I wish them well, but they are lucky to have a job," he said.
Some people think fighting for their contract is noble.
"I would tend to side with what the union is going to do," one man said. "Based on limited information, I would be in favor of the strike."
But most passengers agree it will be a hardship for commuters if BART trains aren't running.
"I know it's gonna be tough out there if they do go on strike," a passenger said.
