SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- A human leg has been found in San Francisco’s McLaren Park. The gruesome discovery was made around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Sunnydale and Persia Avenues by a Parks and Rec crew, which was cleaning out a homeless encampment.

”As they were clearing it out they saw a blue tarp which was emitting an odor,” said Officer Wilfred Williams. “As they looked closer at the area they discovered a leg.”
Investigators taped off a roughly 50-yard, by 50-yard area of the park to search the area in case there are more body parts.
There is no word yet on the gender, age or ethnicity of the victim.
