The AVP Tour brought the world's best beach volleyball players to San Francisco's Pier 30/32. Numerous medalists from the 2008 Summer Olympics were on hand, and the tournament featured the return to action of Kerri Walsh after her maternity leave. Alameda photographer Ed Jay snapped these photos.
