Kenwood Vineyards

2008 Chardonnay, Sonoma County

Bright, green peach aromas with an appealing floral touch, lead to a crisp very pleasing mouthfeel.  That tartness lingers long on the palate.  Here's a really nice summer wine.  That crispness makes it perfect for light summer meals, salads, cold plates, shrimp. Nice price $15.00

2008 Russian River Valley, Pinot Noir Rose

Very pretty, pale coppery color with a delicate touch of strawberries on the nose.  Crisp, tart, yet delicate flavors of strawberries on the palate.  Clearly a perfect summer wine.  A picnic wine for sure...served with cold chicken or fish dishes, or even sandwiches with ham.  Perfect for a BLT.  $13.00
