10th District Congressional Special Election: Results
|
The 10th Congressional District Special Election to replace Rep. Ellen Tauscher took place Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Because no candidate won more than than 50% of the vote, the top vote-getter from each party, Democrat John Garamendi and Republican David Harmer, advance to the November general election.
The 10th District includes parts of the following four counties, so the votes from each county are added together to determine the outcome. Click here for the results by county:
