For Immediate Release September 2, 2009

San Jose-San Francisco- KCBS ALL NEWS RADIO (740 AM and 106.9 FM, www.kcbs.com) holds the Fifth Annual Health Etc event on  Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the spacious San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center.

This year's keynote Speaker will be Dr. Sanjay Gupta, chief medical correspondent for the health and medical unit at CNN. Gupta, a practicing neurosurgeon and an assistant professor of neurosurgery, plays an integral role in the network's medical coverage, which includes lead reporting on breaking medical news, regular health and medical updates for American Morning, anchoring the half-hour weekend medical affairs program House Call with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and reporting for CNN documentaries.

When KCBS needed a Keynote delivered for this year’s Health Etc 2009, we looked no further than Dr. Sanjay Gupta.  In addition to giving the keynote, Gupta will host a panel and be accessible for audience question and answer.

A full agenda of health issues will be explored through speeches, expert panels, seminars, and interactive exhibits. Attendees will be given direct access to health experts and professionals.

KCBS will deliver the answers to questions involving issues such as health care, stress, dieting, diabetes, hypertension, heart, joint paint, and the fall flu pandemic.

Additionally, this year, KCBS celebrates 100 years as the World’s First Broadcasting Station.  Mass Communications began in 1909 in San Jose with experimental broadcasts that ultimately became KCBS.  We are celebrating 100 years of News, Information, and Innovation with a years worth of Centennial events.  We have given our annual Health Etc 2009 event the theme “Live to be 100.”  We will be exploring all aspects of health issues with emphasis on how to improve the quality and longevity of life.

Tickets can be purchased through http://www.kcbs.com/healthetc.
