911 Service Out in Sonoma County



SONOMA, Calif. (KCBS)  -- The Sonoma County Office of Emergency Services has activated the emergency alert system because of a 911 outage in parts of Sonoma County.

The communities of Sea Ranch, Timber Cove, Fort Ross, and Annapolis lost 911 service following a fire that damaged communication lines in Fort Ross.

People in those communities who have an emergency are asked to call the Sea Ranch Fire Department.

People with a 785 prefix are asked to call: 707-785-2648.

Those with a 847 prefix are asked to call: 707-847-3184.
