SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) -- Prosecutors Thursday filed more charges against an 18-year-old man arrested in a shooting at Skyline College in San Bruno.
San Mateo prosecutors charged Germaine Benjamin with possession of a loaded gun in a public place, possession of a concealed loaded firearm and being a gang member committing a felony. He already was charged with possession of a firearm on a college campus.
Police say the shooting earlier this month stemmed from an argument between two groups of men in the campus parking lot and involved gang members.
Witnesses say about four shots were fired during the incident. An 18-year-old man was shot in the buttocks.
Benjamin has been released on $50,000 bond.
A phone message with his lawyer, Cristina Mazzei, was not immediately returned Friday.
