Richard Grant Wines

2001 Reserve Wrotham Clone, Pinot Noir

Partridge eye color. Toasty, yeasty aromas. High acid, very crisp, tart, mouth-filling flavors linger long with fruity flavors.

From Wrotham, England, an ancient vine – hundreds of years old, identified by pinot noir by DNA.

2006 Wrotham Clone, Pinot Noir

Red, deep garnet color. Intriguing, woody aromas with tones of a briar patch, and touches of leather. Medium body with a unique flavor…again that woodsy character.

Plenty of tannin for a backbone. That firmness makes this a wine for your favorite steak. The flavors mingle beautifully.

A firm wine, I’d love to age this for a few years, as it has a great future.

It dramatically benefits from decanting, and opens up beautifully.

What an exciting find at a great price.

$30.00
