Nine Treated for Smoke Inhalation after Tiffany's Fire

Tiffany'sSAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- Nine firefighters suffered smoke inhalation injuries fighting a two-alarm fire at the Tiffany's building in Union Square Wednesday night.

The fire was reported around 6:55 p.m. The smoke billowing from the 11-story building originated from burning insulation in the basement, according to fire officials.

Responding firefighters found smoke on every floor of the building. The fire was contained around 7:30 p.m.
