BAY AREA (KCBS) -- Election day Tuesday provided victories for a pair of San Francisco employees and it appears, all but one of the city’s five propositions on the ballot.
City Attorney Dennis Herrera and Treasurer Jose Cisneros were both huge winners as neither faced opposition.
And all the propositions are passing, except Proposition D, a measure that would allow advertising signs and billboards along mid-Market Street.
Propositions A, C and E appear headed for decisive victories. Prop A would establish a two-year budget cycle and require the city to create a five-year financial plan. Proposition C would allow the city to sell the naming rights to Candlestick Park. And Prop E would freeze ads on public property.
Proposition B, which would allow SF Supervisors to have as many aides as they want, is narrowly winning by about 5 percent.

Two measures that are currently losing are Measure A in Palo Alto, which would provide a business license tax and Measure W in Foster City which would relax term limits for the city council.
