Fourth Arrest in SJ Halloween Attack

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KCBS)  -- San Jose police have arrested a fourth suspect in the shooting of a 12-year-old and stabbing of a 13-year-old who were trick-or-treating on Halloween.

18-year-old Eduardo Cristobal is being held on attempted murder charges. On Tuesday, police arrested a 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys in the case.

Saturday’s attack left the 12-year-old victim in critical condition. The 13-year-old was treated for his wounds and released from the hospital.

Police said they believe the attacks were gang-related, although the two victims were not gang members.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the San Jose Police Department.
