SAN JOSE (KCBS) -- Public health officials are making a number of changes they hope will smooth the process during the next mass vaccination clinic at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds.
The clinic this Sunday will use a numbering system and take other measures to ensure those waiting for the vaccine are comfortable and safe.
More than 4,000 came to the fairgrounds last weekend to get vaccinated, some arriving as early as 3:30 a.m. to camp out along busy Tully Road for protection against the H1N1 virus.
There will also be more staff and more translators so that paperwork gets done more efficiently and the line moves faster, said Santa County Clara Health Officer Marty Fenstershieb.
