The 2002 abduction and killing of Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl and the attempt of his wife Mariane to find him is brought to the screen in this unforgettable film. Angelina Jolie is believable in every frame and anchors this fine film with heart and passion. As a journalist herself, Mariane follows the trail to find her husband along with the Pakistani police and other friends and colleagues. We never see the tragic outcome, but with filmmaking this powerful, we don't eed to.
