SUNNYVALE, Calif. (KCBS) -- Firefighters in Sunnyvale had to be pulled from a two-alarm restaurant fire Monday morning when a gas leak was discovered inside the building.
The fire was at the Yang Ji Restaurant and Karoake Bar on Elko Drive, just off Lawrence Expressway. Firefighters discovered the gas leak when they were almost finished extinguishing the fire.
KCBS' Matt Bigler reports
PG&E crews capped the leak around 8 am Monday morning and fire crews resumed mop up operations.
Authorities say the restaurant is likely a total loss.
