CONCORD, Calif. (KCBS)  -- The city has pulled off what few Bay Area cities have been able to do, blanketing almost two thirds of its downtown and residential neighborhoods with wireless Internet access.

The service provided by Mountain View-based MetroFi is centered in Todos Santos Plaza and reaches most of town, except for some of the more industrial neighborhoods where residences are few and far in between.
